can anyone confirm my suspicion that the 'mystery producer' behind Plus Device is Jimmy Edgar? it sounds like him, but better, and i'm pretty sure that he played some of the tracks off the recent plus device album at the Glade this summer, although obviously those memories are pretty hazey...

Hi simon, first up, just to say, I really enjoy your writing, its very personal and interesting. You also happen to primarily talk about two of my current musical passions, ‘minimal’ techno and grime, which helps! Ive also happened across your old blog when google-ing some grime track names, and I was wondering did you ever record any mixes or compilations? I really love the sort of 2003/2004 period but its basically impossible to methodically track down nowadays (I have to make do with haphazard ebay finds!), so I was just wondering if you ever committed any of it to mp3?
